Heart Wrenching Season

After yet another 4th quarter downfall by the Philadelphia Eagle, I think its time to throw in the towel. This team obviously was over hyped before the season with the huge off season signings. Its disgusting to see this much talent go to waste. I strongly believe that there will be a new head coach in Philly next season. Andy Reid and defensive coordinator Juan Castillo need to be fired. Previous years Andy has stuck around to long and this season is his last straw. Mike Vick is also under performing as of late which isn't helping the Eagles case. Playoff hopes were pretty much shattered in today's loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

What happened to Philadelphia sports?

Recently the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies had the most hype and championships set in their favors. However, the Phillies lost in the first round of the playoffs to the St. Louis Cardinals and the Eagles have slipped to an disgraceful 1-4 record. We as Philadelphia fans were on the top of the world weeks ago and now we are at the bottom of the barrel hoping that something good can happen soon. The Philadelphia Flyers have started their season 2-0 so hopefully they can make a good run for the cup but I don't want to get my hopes up too high again just to see a melt down happen again. What are your thoughts about what the Phillies need to do in their off season to come back and make another run like they did this season? And how can the Eagles bounce back and get on track against the Washington Redskins this weekend?
